Today is the very definition of a trap game. Can the Bruins play up to their own skill level, or will they be drawn down to the Blue Jackets' level of play?
It's pretty likely that we'll see Chad Johnson get the start today. We might even also see Curtis McElhinney. But no, seriously, what's up with Columbus? Brandon Dubinsky, Marian Gaborik, Jared Boll, and Derek MacKenzie are all out. They still managed to beat the Oilers 4-2 last night. They're 4-3-3 in their last 10 games.
This is the last time these two teams face off this year, unfortunately; Nathan Horton won't get a chance to play the Bruins until next season. Ryan Johansen has stepped up in the absence of some of Columbus' stars, and Boone Jenner has been projected out as a really good player for Columbus' future - that tope line will be something to watch tonight.
For the Bruins, last night's game was a good momentum builder after crapping the bed against Detroit on Wednesday. Tonight would be a good time to get another streak going.
