Preview:
SInce we last met: the Flames have actually won some games! Otherwise, seems like everything on that side of the fence is pretty status quo. Joe Colborne is still a second line center. Oh wait, and they fired their GM. No big deal, just another Tuesday in Calgary. Their last game was a shootout loss to the Rangers, a game in which they put three up on Henrik Lundqvist.
On the Bruins side, well.....M*A*S*H unit, continued. Jarome Iginla should be OK to go for tonight, but in case he's not, Craig Cunningham will play his first NHL game. Daniel Paille is (probably) concussed, so Nick Johnson will continue to play alongside Gregory Campbell and Jordan Caron. The Soderberg-Spooner-Smith line has shown flashes of brilliance recently; maybe tonight's their night.
Tonight is also 80's night at the garden. Terry O'Reilly bobbleheads. I can't emphasize this enough.
Chad Johnson may get the start tonight, unless the Bruins decide to save him for the puppy-poo-soft Sabres on Thursday.
NEVER FORGET:
