Preview:
God, the Sabres are garbage. They don't even have noted Bruins killer Thomas Vanek anymore, instead trading him to the Islanders for Matt Moulson. Okay then, Buffalo.
Feast your eyes on that top line. Visualize, if you will, just how neatly the Krejci line will tear them apart (hint: they should go through them like wet tissue paper. It should be hilarious.) One has to feel for Ryan Miller; as hatable as he is, he's still Team USA's goalie, and for that let's all just hope he gets rescued from the bleakness of Western New York sometime soon.
Will John Scott play? Who knows. Who cares. Will Dave Warsofsky play, that's the real burning question. Finally, the Vladimir Sobotka trade will pay at least small dividends! The answer appears to be yes, he'll make his NHL debut one game after Craig Cunningham made his. So all told, that's six Providence guys making appearances for the Bruins this year. Crazy.
Chad Johnson will likely get the start; Tuukka Rask doesn't need to waste his time on a garbage team like Buffalo.
NEVER FORGET:
This will never not be funny.
