BOSTON RECALLS GOALIE NIKLAS SVEDBERG

I'm too excited to think of words

Niklas Svedberg won all the awards given out by the AHL Bruins last season, and all the ones given out by me in my heart.

The Bruins just announced that Niklas Svedberg has been recalled from the Providence Bruins of the AHL. It's unclear whether this is to fill in for Chad Johnson or Tuukka Rask, but one can only assume that after Svedberg's stellar shutout win last night over the Worcester Sharks, Peter Chiarelli finally realized what a horrible decision he made in not making Svedberg the backup right out of training camp.

For Svedberg stats, go to the press release, or read what I have to say: Svedberg is the greatest. He is the Svedbest. Svedgreatest. He is an awesome Swedish goalie who won the AHL best goalie in the universe (or league) award last season. He has never played in an NHL regular season game, but has won a Swedish Elite League championship and is generally just awesome so let's celebrate in our excitedness.
