Bruins vs. Capitals recap: Bruins score five in 4-1 win

In one of the most complete games they've had this season, the Bruins scored five goals to beat the Caps 4-1. Only one goal short of quota! Not bad!

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

This game had everything. Let's break down the awesomeness.

Pluses:

+ Welcome back, HuLK line! David Krejci, Milan Lucic, and Nathan Horton looked SHARP tonight. Lucic's three assists were a career high for him; Krejci now has 300 career points; Horton had a Gordie Howe Hat Trick. No slackers on that line tonight, which is an AWESOME turnaround for them.

+ Andrew Ference finally scored a goal, and it was off a beauty of a pass, too - Michal Neuvirth had no chance on that one.

+ In games like this where the Krejci line is clicking, I will take the trade-off of Brad Marchand for Mike Ribeiro all day every day - for pure comedic value on one hand, and for the fact that Ribeiro is the Caps' leading scorer on the other. Ovechkin who?

+ Related to that, hilarious to see Bruins fans getting under the skin of Mike Ribeiro and Matt Hendricks. Way to stay focused, guys.

+ 1 for 1 on the powerplay and 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.

+ The Bruins are 5-0-0 in matinee games this year. Twilight zone?

+ KHUDOBIN MANIA. How incredible is this guy? Some of the saves he made tonight were GLORIOUS. 32 saves on 32 Capitals' shots. And relatedly.....

Minuses

- How nice of David Krejci to spot the Capitals one goal! What a goof, but at the same time we can't complain when that was the only goal that got past Khudobin all night.
