The Swedish Hockey Federation has officially decided to stand down: Carl Soderberg has been released, and should be free to join the Boston Bruins as soon as he possibly can.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the IIHF rule that the SHF had contested was the one stating he was still under contract; his contract with Linkoping supposedly was supposed to run through May 15. As that wasn't the case, since the team had officially released him, the NHL ruled in Boston's favor, and here we are.

You lose this one, fake Peter Forsberg and your silly Swedish Hockey Federation!
COMMENCE ROSTERBATION. I'll start. With Patrice Bergeron coming back, here's what I want to see:
Lucic - Krejci - Horton
Seguin - Bergeron - Jagr
Paille - Campbell - Soderberg
Kelly- Peverley - Caron
