Stanley Cup Final Quick Recap: Bruins lose 6-5 in OT. See ya Monday, TD Garden

Jim Rogash

No one said it'd be easy. The Blackhawks are a Really Good Hockey Team. Bruins in 5? Yeah maybe in our dreams. It's cool though.

Nick Leddy played 2:37 this game, split between four shifts. Might want to keep an eye on that as we head towards game 5. Kaspars Daugavins played 5:57; Shawn Thornton played 5:54.

Tuukka Rask stopped 41 of 47 shots tonight -- while he's been unreal this whole playoff run, tonight was BAD. Not as bad as Corey Crawford, who only made 28 saves despite his team's offense. He did everything possible to lose this game for his team. Strong work.

Zdeno Chara was a -3. Um.... tonight was definitely not this defensive corps' best game ever, not by a long shot.

Patrice Bergeron, Rich Peverley, and Johnny Boychuk had excellent games for the Bruins tonight, although geez maybe a little faceoff work is in order. The Bruins as a whole only won 39 faceoffs to Chicago's 38. Usually, that number is more greatly disproportional.

The Boston Bruins in this era have never lost a SCF game by more than one goal. Of the five games they've lost, in games where they scored at least one goal, those games have all gone to OT. Amazing.

Dennis Seidenberg was a garbage fire tonight. Discuss.

This was cool.
