Tuesday Morning Skate: Tim Thomas to join the Clan?

This is a special early edition of Morning Skate. Here's why:

As around the time that this is published, the UK's Braehead Clan should be announcing a new netminder. Rumors are apparently flying around that Tim Thomas will be the goalie in question. Yes, that Tim Thomas. He's stopped a lot of pucks in a lot of different leagues, so one more may be just what he needs to get that Olympic bid restart his career get out of the house.

By the time some of you read this, it may already be too late and Braehead may have signed some other jerk. But just try to capture the magic feeling you felt thinking that there's a chance we'd get another Thomas highlight soon...
