Preview:

So if you're going to the game today, it starts at 11:30 CST. What the heck? What is wrong with a nice noon start time, NBC? Why do you have to make things all weird and crazy for everyone?

I hope you're all bundled up in blankets on your couches watching Saturday morning TV like me, grumping about the Blackhawks because it figures, the stupidest start time of the season WOULD come against the team that made us most miserable last year. Personally, I'm watching some ridiculous Premier League soccer game, I have no idea what's happening.

The Bruins' website headline for this game is "Emotions Resurface." That's all well and good, but the Bruins really have bigger things to worry about - with Tampa breathing down their necks, and Montreal only a few points behind. A win today would increase the gap on Tampa, and send the Bruins back to Boston to face the Kings again less than 24 hours after the end of today's game.

Tuukka Rask will likely get the start today.

In all seriousness, it'll be interesting to see how the Bruins fare against Chicago with a much more healthy lineup. No longer is Patrice Bergeron trying to play with a punctured lung, and they're minus the plethora of other ridiculous injuries. Should be a good game.
