Preview:
Welcome to another day of matinee hockey. The Bruins take on the LA Kings at 3pm today, which is a pretty bizarre time for a hockey game.
The Kings are coming off a pretty bizarre shootout loss to Detroit. LA was up by a goal late in the third, but with 26.1 seconds left, a shot deflected off the netting, off Jonathan Quick's back, and into the net. None of the refs or linesmen caught the puck hitting the netting, so the goal stood.
Pretty weird.
Before that, they beat the Blues 4-1 on Thursday. The last time these two teams met, on January 9, the Bruins lost 4-2.
The Bruins will be down a defenseman again, as Adam McQuaid left the game against Chicago with an injury, and Zach Trotman has been called up.
NEVER FORGET:
