Game Notes:

  • The Islanders lost their last game in weird fashion, when a goal was called back in OT. According to Toronto, who were wrong, Thomas Vanek had "kicked the goal in" when in reality, the puck went in off his skate which was being propelled towards the net by the skate of Alex Steen. The Blues went on to win in the shootout. Welp. Sorry Isles.
  • Last time the Bruins played on Long Island, I....don't really remember most of the game.
  • They lost though.
  • The Islanders will apparently be in Nassau for one more year after all!
  • Fun google autocompletes of the day:

  • Chris Kelly might be back tonight? Or tomorrow night? Or someday?

NEVER FORGET:
