Justin Florek Recalled from Providence

Florek has been recalled on an emergency basis

Amalie Benjamin of The Boston Globe reported a few minutes ago that the Providence Bruins Justin Florek has been recalled to Boston on an emergency basis. For who? We do not know yet.

Flo had a goal last night in Providence's 3-0 win over the Worcester Sharks.

Forek has 9 goals and 11 assists for 20 points in 34 games this season. He has 21 goals and 29 assists for 50 points in 112 career AHL games, all with Providence.

Florek was a draft pick of the Boston Bruins in 2010, in the fifth round at 135 overall. He spent three years in the NCAA at Northern Michigan University, where he had 116 points in 154 career games.

Florek was named to the 2011-2012 CCHA Second All-Star Team. Prior to that in 2007-2008, he won a bronze medal with the under-18 USA World Junior Championship team.
