Game Notes:
- Jarome Iginla is returning to the Garden, and he had nice words about his time in Boston. Boston is feeling his absence considering he scored 61 points last season, topped only by Krejci and Bergeron.
- The Bruins and the Avs are both coming off of disheartening shutouts - the Avalanche have not yet scored a goal this year. This game will be desperate and will hopefully show us the Bruins hockey we've been waiting to see.
- Thank God David Krejci is cleared for contact. He should bring the veteran skill the team has needed. As Chris Kelly put it, "It's not Bruins hockey. It's not the way we want to play hockey." We're counting on Krejci to remind us what Bruins hockey, Presidents' Trophy hockey, is like.
