Game Notes:
- Remember when I said not to panic in October? Well…it's almost November. Besides, that was a simpler time, a time before a picture of Torey Krug's disfigured finger was circulating the internet. Of course aggressive confidence in the Bruins would be ridiculous right now, but here's some healthy perspective: our opponents tonight are talking about tanking for draft picks. Yikes.
- A 4-3 comeback loss against the Wild was hard to stomach on Tuesday. "It's the NHL right? Best players. Best teams," said Brad Marchand of the loss. Killer insight. He's implying that no matter the score, anything can happen and the Bruins need to play a full 60 minutes of hockey. This is becoming a reoccurring theme.
- A game against Buffalo, 2-8 and last in the Atlantic Division, is exactly what Boston needs right now. The young defensemen can handle it. Let's see what Dougie Hamilton can do.
