Tuesday MOrning Skate: Armistice Day

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. Last night's game was pretty sweet. Can we play bad teams all the time? That would be great.

Today is Armistice Day, or now its veteran's day in America. It's a tough holiday, because you can't just say "happy veteran's day!" without being some sort of monster. The most appropriate thing I can think of is "thank you for your service." Sure, this doesn't work for just anyone on the street, but the day isn't about just anyone on the street.

Wear your ribbons and poppies, y'all. And to all the service men and women out there, thank you for your service.

RIP grandpa, Art Gustafson (WWII, Pacific Navy)
