A funny thing happened last night during the blowout loss to Montreal. Stop me if you've heard this one:
1. A player in a Boston-Montreal game runs over someone on the other team (clean but big hit).
2. Another player steps in in defence of the hittee and appears to challenge the hitter to a fight.
3. No fight happens, but the player that stepped in takes a stupid penalty in frustration.
Sound familiar, right? Well it happened again, and Lucic and Subbam were involved. With an odd twist, though: Subban's came away with the crosschecking penalty.
It didn't help the Bruins win or anything, but it was pretty wild.
Roughriders play Edmonton Sunday at 4:30pm.
