Someday! Someday, Seth Griffith will score a normal NHL goal. Unfortunately for Cam Ward, tonight he got another weird bounce for the first goal of the game.
The Bruins scored again at the end of the first period and didn't play badly for the remainder of the game, but didn't score again, either.
At this point I think "didn't play like a garbage fire" is something we have to be happy with, unfortunately. Tuukka Rask had a fantastic game, Claude played the fourth line in a few too many weird situations, Daniel Paille almost scored but Gregory Campbell ruined it because fourth line, and no one else really had a good solid scoring opportunity all night. But the Bruins won, and at this point, I guess that's all that matters.
Gifs!
Here's another angle on Griffith's goal, which was really hilarious:
Here's Bergeron's goal:
Carl Soderberg had a wide open net and ughhhhh:
And here's Paille's disallowed goal.
Next game: vs. the Blues on Tuesday. GET EXCITED. (I'm so excited.)
