Game Notes:

  • For the third time this season, the Bruins are facing the Canadiens in the second game of a back-to-back while the Canadiens are well-rested. At least the Bruins are coming off of a 734234 (7) round shootout comeback win. Tonight is the season's first Bruins-Habs game at the Garden.
  • Tuukka Rask has struggled against the Habs more than any other team, with a 3-11-3 record and a 2.80 GAA lifetime vs that annoying team I don't like. Niklas Svedberg was in net last time and let up five goals out of 23 shots. Since Svedberg was in goal during last night's craziness, I'm assuming Rask will start tonight.
  • The Canadiens simply bring out the worst in the Bruins. Confidence is key in every game, but it's especially essential tonight.
  • Matt Bartkowski haters were sort of silenced last night, and I hope he pulls off something great tonight. Last night was strangely awesome in general, and I hope to see some of that repeated.

NEVER FORGET:

Yep, still pretty mad about this. No lasers at the Garden, right?
