Game Notes:

  • Ah, it's here. The first Bruins after dark game of the season, if you will. Who's staying up to watch?
  • David Krejci and Zdeno Chara did not make the trip, unsurprisingly. December 11th is the targeted date for Chara's return. It's a relief to have an actual date thrown out there.
  • Ducks goalie Jason LaBarbera is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Frederik Anderson would have likely started either way, but he was pulled in the second period Saturday after letting the Sharks score five.
  • This road trip is going to be a test. Claude Julien does not "expect to go out there and dominate a game from start to finish with our lineup right now," he said after an OT win over the Jets Friday. The Bruins need to play more of a full 60 minutes, but any type of win against an impressive Ducks team would be great.
  • Tuukka and Pasta. Those are two names I like right now.
