Game Notes:

  • Predators Goalie Pekka Rinne is reaaaaalllllly good. Like, 1.87 goals against and .933 save percentage good. Maybe better than Corey Crawford and Marc-Andre Fleury good. Definitely better than Jhonas Enroth good. Rinne played last night, though, so the Bruins may not face him. Fingers crossed?
  • Claude Julien most likely won't mess with Soderberg-Eriksson chemistry (see also: only apparent Boston chemistry) like he was previously considering. Play like Carl. Score in OT like Loui.
  • Boston fell to Nashville 3-2 last week in a frustrating shootout. People were very disappointed in Chara. (Remember?) This time around I hope we can be a little more optimistic and remember that Pekka Rinne's season has been potential Vezina Trophy material. I wasn't thrilled about all the effort it took to win against the Sabres, but a win is points. We need those.
  • Adam McQuaid was on ice for the morning skate.

NEVER FORGET:

An overtime GWG…you automatically thought of Loui, didn't you? Nope.
