The Bruins made a trade this afternoon, sending Carter Camper to Columbus (Springfield) for Blake Parlett. Parlett will liekly report to the P-Bruins.
Parlett is a 25-year-old, 6'1 defenseman who has spent the last two seasons playing for the Springfield Falcons. Before that, he was a throw-in as part of the Gaborik trade, and had played for the Hartford Wolfpack/CT Whale prior to the trade.
We have a trade to announce:

It was a quiet day so theatrics req'd. But a trade is a trade and it's a big deal in the lives of Camper and Parlett, so there you go.

Carter Camper is currently injured with a broken toe, and won't be available for Springfield for a while. Parlett has been a mediocre defenseman on a decent Springfield squad, but with Joe Morrow lost to injury he'll likely get a significant amount of playing time on a depleted Providence blueline.
