Game Notes:

  • Wow, the Capitals are a MASH unit. They lost Brooks Laich and John Erskine after last night's game against the Flyers, in which there were a lot of shenanigans. Like, a LOT.
  • The Caps lost to the Flyers 6-4 last night. The Flyers were up 4-0, the Capitals attempted to mount a comeback and got it to 4-3, at which point the Flyers basically went "haha no" and scored three more times. Not really the best game for Braden Holtby, who was pulled after four goals...
  • ...and who inexplicably gets the start tonight, against Tuukka Rask and the Bruins!
  • Andrej Meszaros will not play tonight. Likely he'll slot in against Tampa on Saturday.
  • Loui Eriksson's injury was actually sustained in Sochi when he cut his heel in the cold tub and it got infected. FOREVER #SOCHIPROBLEMS. He's good to go tonight.

I don't even know.
