Game Notes:

  • This is a big one. If the Bruins can close out the Red Wings today, they'll have the opportunity to rest up while every other series ends, which could give them up to four or five days to gather themselves to face off against Montreal.
  • Just an optional skate for the Bruins yesterday, and no update on any injured players (Kelly, Paille).
  • Jimmy Howard apparently has a concussion? Jake Patersen has been called up from Saginaw of the OHL. Howard got kneed in the head by Carl Soderberg during game 3.
