Game Notes:

  • If the Bruins win tonight in any way and the Penguins lose, the Bruins clinch the #1 spot in the Eastern Conference and home ice through the first three rounds of playoffs. Feels good man.
  • Loss last night isn't huge. Ends the dumb "Omg we're going streaking" narrative, allows the Bruins to buckle down for the rest of the season and just focus on the important things.
  • Odds that we'll see (Hi I'm) Chad Johnson tonight are pretty good. No morning skate for the Bruins today, so it's not clear if they'll scratch a veteran or two again tonight to rest people for playoffs.
  • THE GAME IS ON NESN PLUS. PLEASE DO NOT PANIC WHEN YOU SEE BASEBALL ON NESN TONIGHT
  • The Leafs recalled Carter Ashton today. Probably he'll slot in on their fourth line, I guess?

NEVER FORGET:

Someday there will be a leafs game where I don't use this. Today is not that day.
