Tuesday Morning Skate: Put them out of our misery

USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone. I hope you all had a relaxing long weekend. Even the Canadians who didn't have a national holiday.

Last night the Kings started really putting the screws to the Blackhawks. They look pretty unstoppable-juggernaut right now, which is alright. Both series are now at 3-1. New York can end Montreal's mediocre playoff run tonight, and I hope they do.

Barry Trotz is the new coach in Washington. Should be interesting to see how that goes. They got a new GM, too. Great job, caps. Without George McPhee to scare away trades/signings, they might actually get good again. Or it'll be a tire fire. We'll see.

What's on tap, y'all?
