Matt Fraser felt guilty enough about eating frozen yogurt for lunch today that he beasted in overtime and scored the game-winner. GET FROYO FOR THIS WHOLE TEAM. Fraser and his line with Carl Soderberg and Loui Eriksson were finally rewarded for their hard work all game with that goal in OT - Fraser from Soderberg and Johnny Boychuk was how the score line read. It was the only goal scored in the game, as Tuukka Rask earned a shutout and Carey Price very nearly did the same.
THE GOOD
- The Bruins actually dominated play for most of the game, and that whole "if the net were only three inches wider/taller..." thing came into play yet again. Tons of chances, unable to bury any of them. Montreal had a few good opportunities but not nearly as many as boston did.
- GODDAMMIT PRICE
- Haha what is a power play. The Bruins had two tonight and were unable to do anything with them - including even keep the puck in the offensive zone for notable amounts of time.
THE BAD
THE UGLY
THE INTERESTING:
RT @AHLPR: Matt Fraser is the first player ever to score OT goals in @TheAHL and @NHL playoffs in the same season. #StanleyCup @EliasSports
