Stanley Cup Final Game Five: Rangers vs. Kings

Well. Here we are. Again. Now of course, the Kings lost on Thursday because they want to win the Stanley Cup in front of all their fans. That's right. Of course.

Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

What on earth can be said about this game? If the Kings win, they win the Stanley Cup on their home ice. If the Rangers win, they send the series back to New York where the Rangers will then try to knot the series at 3 games each. Here's my expert analysis: Kings? You don't want to do that. Wrap this up at home!

Once someone wins the Stanley Cup (I'm making an attempt to appear impartial here) that's it for hockey. The NHL Awards are on the 24th, and then the draft will be held on the 27th and 28th, and then...what? No, seriously, if you have any ideas, let me know.

All right, for maybe the last time this year: GO KINGS GO. If they win (impartiality rules!) I have been told (by a little bird) that I AM going to the parade, which will be cool cause I missed the 2012 one here and only saw the Bruins parade on the web in 2011. I'm sure it'll be a crazy time. What are you guys planning to get up to with your time off from hockey?
