It was a great night for Patrice Bergeron and Tuukka Rask, not so much for Zdeno Chara. Torey Krug camethisclose to a Calder nomination, and Claude Julien was the fourth candidate for the Jack Adams. [TheBostonGlobe]

Consolation prize: Chara was named a first-team NHL star, as was Rask, Torey Krug was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team, and the Bruins appear to get the last shot to make a deal for Jarome Iginla before the draft. [SouthCoastToday]

Awkward seemed to be the theme of the evening, but it was a great chance to see some of "the good guys," including Rich Peverley. Chara wuz robbed. And how about Cuba Gooding, Jr.?
