You know, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see the Rangers hang out in their own end for most of the first period tonight, doing all they can to not open up the scoring or build up a lead against the Los Angeles Kings. That just doesn't seem to deflate the Kings in any way. We've yet to see if the opposite happens if the Kings open up the scoring or play with a lead during this series, but I'm beginning to wonder if they'd be struck dumb, being in such an unfamiliar position.
It's a must-win situation for the Rangers if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. Let's see what happens. I personally hope the Rangers win a couple at least, because like you, I'm sure, I'm not ready to be done with hockey.
