PSYCH!

It's time for the Minnesota Wild players we love/players we hate post, and now you're reading about the Minnesota Wild. You probably didn't even want to. Too late.

Love: Mikko Koivu

The Finnish Patrice Bergeron, Mikko Koivu has been permanent captain of the Minnesota Wild since the departure of Marian Gaborik. He's now franchise leader in Assists and Points, and second in Games Played (142 behind Nick Schultz), Goals (89 behind Gaborik), Short-handed Goals (5 behind The People's Champ, Wes Walz), Shots (216 behind Gaborik), and powerplay on-ice goals for (5 behind Andrew Brunette). Mikko is a Finn, as well, so if you're into that sort of thing he's great.

He also Kronwalled Niklas Kronwall this one time, you may have heard about:

Honorable mention: Zach Parise

Hate: Matt Cooke

Could it be anyone else?

There's a reason that Marc Savard is using his hockey sense to scout for the Ottawa 67s instead of creating beautiful magic on the powerplay. Matt Cooke is so hated, I got in trouble for a headline about him once. There isn't a whole lot more that needs to be said about the worst villain in recent history. He needs to get punched in the face a lot. And maybe set on fire. He's my most hated player on the Minnesota Wild, or really any team on the league.
