With the Boston Bruins not looking so hot on the ice, lets take a look at some Bruins NCAA prospects. These rankings courtesy of The Hockey News and Ryan Kennedy.
Danton Heinen - 4th round (116 overall), 2014
12. Danton Heinen, C, Denver - One of the biggest breakout players last year, the Pioneers will rely on the Bruins selection for offense again.
As a Freshman, Heinen was third in freshman scoring behind two guys named Jack Eichel and Dylan Larkin. You might know them. Overall, he finished 15th overall in points, tied with Austin Czarnik with 45 points.
Prior NCAA years:

19. Rob O'Gara, D, Yale - He won a national title with the Bulldogs in 2013 and now the big Boston pick is looking to end his college career on a similar high note.
Ivy league hockey doesn't start until the end of October, so we have

Jacob Forsbacka-Karlsson - 2nd round (45 overall), 2015
20. Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson, C, Boston U. - The freshman Bruins pick will get a top-six role to start and his two-way game ensures both responsibility and offense.
Forsbacka-Karlsson has played two preseason games with Boston University, with two goals on five shots, including one very nice penalty shot goal to put the game away for good.

Ryan Donato - 2nd round (56 overall), 2014
30. Ryan Donato, C, Harvard - Incredible hands and 1-on-1 skills are this Boston pick's calling cards. He'll play for his dad, Ted, with the Crimson.
Donato will be a Freshman at Harvard, and has played no NCAA games thus far. Donato is coming off of a year at Dexter with 53 points in 31 games.
Sean Kuraly - 5th round (133 overall), 2011
48. Sean Kuraly, C, Miami - The Boston prospect (via trade with San Jose) is a two-way forward who needs to up his production for the RedHawks.
Kuraly was part of the Martin Jones trade, and will hope to put up better numbers than his 29 point Sophomore and Junior year. Kuraly will be the Redhawks captain, following in fellow Bruins prospect Austin Czarnik's footsteps.
