Last night, Chelmsford native and former Boston University Terrier Jack Eichel scored his first NHL goal for the Buffalo Sabres. We extend our condolences to him for having to live in Buffalo, but look on the bright side - could've been Edmonton. Anyhow, here's the video of that happening:
Beautiful sounds. Jack Eichel's 1st goal. Our famous foghorn. Rick Jeanneret's call. New goal song. #NextChapter https://t.co/AiGTTKn9OE— Buffalo Sabres (@BuffaloSabres) October 9, 2015
What really sticks out to me is that the goal song is absolutely fantastic. Let Me Clear My Throat absolutely kills as a goal song. And I got to thinking...maybe it's time to let go of Kerkraft 400's classic Zombie Nation. So, if you would be so kind, please nominate a new song for Bruins goal song. We'll have voting on this later, and eventually present this to the Bruins*
*presentation will likely be in blog post form, right here on Stanley Cup of Chowder.
