Alexander Khokhlachev has had one of the roughest weeks in his professional career, first being demoted after playing two games on a line with David Krejci and Loui Eriksson, and now this most recent injury news.
Hearing Alex Khokhlachev likely to miss 4 to 6 weeks after surgery on his hand today. #NHLBruins

Thanks to Marina Molnar from Weekend At Bergys, here is where he was injured:
Khokhlachev didn't play rest of game after this spill vs Utica on Saturday night. Looks like he slammed hand on ice. pic.twitter.com/Vj5P2lPhiW

Hope he heals quickly from his injury, which forced him to sit out the third period of the P Bruins game against the Utica Comets (they really should be called the Nucks, I mean the Utica Nucks? Say that fast, it just fits)
The good news for Providence is that another skilled center in Austin Czarnik should be back from a shoulder injury, sustained here on this hit from Mike Halmo. Czarnik will be missing his trigger man in Frank Vatrano, barring a demotion before tomorrow night.
