NESN to air Boston Pride home opener

In a surprise to pretty much everyone, NESN will be airing the Boston Pride's home opener live on Sunday afternoon.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

I'm sure it was a tough choice to give the slot to women's hockey instead of some other exciting boating programming. Now, even if you can't be there, you can still watch, which is so awesome. Hopefully they'll also air a commercial to boost viewership during tonight's Bruins v. Sharks matchup or [praying hands emoji] Leafs v. Bruins on Saturday. Maybe they'll even air every home game. A girl can dream.
