Matt Beleskey buries Derek Stepan. Clean or late?

In the second period, Matt Beleskey dumped Derek Stepan into the corner. Stepan stayed down for a bit, while Dylan McIlrath came over and said "hello" to Beleskey.

The Bruins scored on the ensuing PP, but: was it a clean hit? Have a look and have your say.

Beleskey says he was surprised Stepan didn't brace himself to be hit. Thinks hit may have been a tad late, hopes he's OK.
