So Alexander Khokhlachev is on his way to Boston.
The Bruins have recalled Koko from Providence, where he has put up four goals and nine assists in 10 games for the P-Bruins this season, good for first in points on the team (although he's been vastly outdone in the goals category by Frank Vatrano.) HIs points total through ten games is tied for best in the AHL.
He'll be eligible for tonight's game against the Stars.
Where will he skate? Who is he replacing? What is happening? Are the Bruins dangling him as trade bait?
A couple things could happen here.
He could play on the fourth line at center, giving that line a boost. He could also play in place of Ryan Spooner at center, giving Spooner a break to see the game from level 9. Or, if the Bruins want to see how he can perform on the wing, he could play in place of David Pastrnak.
Whatever the case, the Bruins just got a little more Russian. Here we go!
