Preview: Bruins (6-5-1) at Canadiens (12-2-1)

Buckle up!

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

What do the Bruins need to do to avoid losing three games in a row? Why, just win in Montreal! Simple!

Just the facts:

When: 7 PM

Where: Bell Centre, Montreal, QC

TV: NESN, NHLN, TVAS, SportsNet

Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub, NHL Game Radio

Opposing team's site: Habs Eyes on the Prize

Game notes:

This should be fun! The Canadiens are 12-2-1 on the season, 6-0-1 at home and were recently placed in the top spot in the NHL's Super 16. Yeah, things are going well for them. The Bruins have lost two in a row and have looked miserable in doing so.

The Bruins have only beaten the Canadiens twice in the regular season since the 2013 campaign, with their last win against the Habs coming nearly two calendar years ago. NICE.

Carey Price, Max Pacioretty and PK Subban continue to be great for Montreal. Tomas Plekanec leads the Habs with 6-8-14 totals. Dale Weise (the worst) somehow leads the Habs with 8 goals. 8!!!!

The Canadiens have the league's third-best power play. The Bruins have the league's worst penalty kill. The game is in Montreal.

Uh oh.

For the Bruins, David Krejci holds the team lead in both goals (8) and points (15). Jimmy Hayes is hot, with six points (2G, 4A) in his last five games.

Never forget:

Come on, it never gets old.
