Boston Bruins vs Pittsburgh Penguins again yeah really

New, comments
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Just about everything that was true last game is true again, except that Tuukka Rask has now moved into second on the shutouts against Pittsburgh since 1987-88 category. First place is Marty Brodeur with 11, but he also only had a .905 save percentage against them, combining playoffs and regular season. Rask has a .944 through 16 Regular Season and Playoff games, which is...well, it's pretty good. Only Manny Fernandez has played over 300 minutes against the Penguins and has a better save percentage with .955.

Anyways, here's the details:

WHERE: CONSOL energy center

WHEN: 7pm tonight!

TV: NESN in Boston, ROOT, TVA Sports

Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub

Mike Sullivan is still looking for his first win as Penguins coach, and again it's against his previous team. Most people weren't exactly big fans of Mike Sullivan's time in Boston. Whether that's a roster issue or a coaching issue is up for debate, but it is what it is.

Well, there was an optional skate this morning. Lines from last practice:

  • Beleskey—Krejci—Eriksson
  • Marchand—Ferraro—Connolly
  • Vatrano—Spooner—Hayes
  • Talbot—Khokhlachev—Randell

Of note: Patrice Bergeron didn't practice yesterday but is expected to play with Marchand.

And pairings:

  • Chara—McQuaid
  • Seidenberg—C. Miller
  • Krug—K. Miller
  • Morrow—Trotman

No Morning Skate means no idea who's in net. What do y'all think?
