David Pastrnak assigned to Providence on conditioning loan

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The Bruins announced today that David Pastrnak will join the Providence Bruins on a conditioning stint. Hooray, he's well enough to play! Apparently he'll be playing on a line with Alexander Khokhlachev, who was also sent down.

Pastrnak was out with a broken foot. He could be sent to World Juniors; the deadline for the Bruins to make that decision is tonight at midnight. Although it'd probably be better to have him in the AHL playing against adults, I am personally extremely biased and want to see him in Helsinki, so please do the thing, Sweeney.
