Just the facts:

TV: NESN, SNF
Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub
Rival SBN Site: Matchsticks and Gasoline
Game notes:
I was going to make this entire preview just one big Adele song because tonight is Dougie Hamilton Dennis Wideman reunion night and it's bound to be painful and bitter for everyone involved Dan, but I guess I'll spare you.
The Calgary Flames are Not Good. They have exactly as many points as Edmonton. But they're a very young team, highlighted by 19 year old Sam Bennett, 22 year old familiar face John Gaudreau, and 21 year old Sean Monahan.
Also Wideman has four more points than Dougie. Ha. You know who has as many points as Wideman? COLIN MILLER. #wewonthetrade
In all seriousness, the game against the Oilers should serve as a wake-up call; the Bruins can't sleep on bad teams. The Flames are 2-3-0 in their last five games, with neither win coming in regulation; they haven't won in regulation since November 17 against the Devils, and they haven't won by a margin of more than one goal since November 7 against Pittsburgh - the only time they've done so all year. They have the second-worst PP% in the league at 12.86% (compared to Boston's 31.4%) and the worst PK% at 71.6 (compared to Boston at 76.7). The Bruins should be able to capitalize on this tonight.
Never forget:
Once upon a time the Flames lived in Atlanta, and this happened.
