You know how Nashville always seems to be in the playoff hunt, no matter if they're employing the ageless corpses of Jason Arnott or Martin Gelinas or guys who still play in the league like journeyman Cody Bass and that Erik Nystrom guy who had a good year once? Well, they're doing it again.

Nashville sits 5th in the Central Division, owning a 13-8-1 record through their opening 22 games. They've struggled over their last 10 games (3-5-2), but that's nothing to get excited over – the Predators still employ Pekka Rinne, Seth Jones and Filip Forsberg, who are all very good at this hockey thing.
