1st Period
Early on, Adam McQuaid got an Antoine Roussel cross-check to the neckbeard. Roussel already rumoured to be getting disciplined for this one.
On the powerplay, a bad Krejci pass leads to a Fiddler breakaway as he sheds Torey Krug's backcheck and nets a short-handed goal, Boston's first given up this year.
Krejci makes up for it soon after, receiving a nice pass from Pastrnak for Boston's first goal. Game tied, 1-1.
But soon after, Jamie Benn's 17th of the year made it a 2-1 game.
And then he added his 2nd of the period, putting the Stars up by two.
Dougie stood up for Bergeron after a clean hip check to end the period, and put the Bruins on the PK to start the 2nd.
2nd Period
A late goaltender swap surprised almost everyone, including Niklas Svedberg.
And right away, Bergeron and Marchand linked up for a short-handed goal of their own.
Mid-way through the period, Dougie redeems himself with a goal of his own, and ties the game 3-3.
Rask also came to play, making a ridiculous save with a little help from the iron.
As did Pastrnak, who was doing his part in the defensive zone.
Dougie gets a high stick and draws a double-minor, before heading to the locker room for the rest of the 2nd.
But another long Bruins powerplay means another Stars short-handed goal, this one by Trevor Daley.
3rd Period
Chances, chances, and more chances. The Bruins couldn't manage to get by Lehtonen.
Erik Cole's 200-ft goal pretty much summed up the night, with the most english on a puck I've ever seen.
Welp. On to the West coast!
