According to Fluto Shinzawa, Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller is due to have season-ending shoulder surgery. He re-aggravated a previous injury against the Calgary Flames earlier this week.
Miller hasn't exactly been a stellar replacement for Johnny Boychuk, as Sean points out here:

Whatever the case, we wish him well in recovery. Here's hoping Matt Bartkowski can pick up the slack.
