Tonight we invite Buffalo into our homes and our lives. The Sabres have lost seven straight games, but took two of their last three contests to a shootout before grabbing the loser point. While Buffalo is in full metal tank mode, they're playing back-up netminder Matt Hackett, who you may not know but you should, if for no other reason than his seriously awesome mask.
"@BuffaloSabres: Matt Hackett's new mask. #OneBuffalo (@Hockeyequipmgr) #BUFvsWSH pic.twitter.com/dF1jkYPgzj" can't get over how awesome this is

[Ed note: Matt Hackett isn't playing tonight, and it's actually Anders, playing in a Lindback-to-back. But, still a cool helmet.]
Also, TIL that despite their current logo having a wild buffalo and two swords, the Sabres' mascot is neither a buffalo nor a sword-yieliding person, but a pretty harmless-looking sabretooth tiger. The More You Know®.
Svedberg gets the nod in net for the night. #SwedePower. How's everyone feeling about a win tonight, eh?
