Well, the standings look a bit nicer now than they did on Friday. Not to mention that we beat the Rangers and the spoiling Hurricanes along the way. And how about the Pastrnak slam? With authority. Here are our standings as we rock and roll into this beautiful morning:
Team | GP | W | L | OTL | PTS | ROW | Pot | Max | Was | Bos | Ott | Flo |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Washington Capitals | 76 | 41 | 25 | 10 | 92 | 37 | 12 | 104 | -- | 9 | 8 | 5 |
Boston Bruins | 76 | 38 | 25 | 13 | 89 | 35 | 12 | 101 | 15 | -- | 11 | 8 |
Ottawa Senators | 75 | 37 | 26 | 12 | 86 | 32 | 14 | 100 | 18 | 15 | -- | 11 |
Florida Panthers | 76 | 35 | 26 | 15 | 85 | 27 | 12 | 97 | 19 | 16 | 15 | -- |
We've still got some work to do, but we also have a little bit of a cushion. We're driving the bus, here. 11 points (out of a possible 12 remaining) guarantees a playoff spot. Any games that those teams below us lose, obviously, helps bring that number down. But, if we just win the last 6 games, we're in. Heck, Washington/Detroit are only 3 points ahead.
What's on tap?
