Bruins vs. Flyers: It's A Matinee Baby

Those smelly doofs from Philly are in town, and they're probably looking to fight!

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

WHO:

Philadelphia (28-25-12, 68 pts) @ Boston (31-22-10, 72 pts)

WHEN:

Like 20 minutes (1 pm!)

WHERE:

The House That Gregory Campbell Built (TD Garden)

RUNDOWN

The Flyers, inching ever so close to our beloved Bruins, enter today's matinee trailing by just 4 points in the standings. Boston does hold 2 games in hand, though we've seen how quickly anything of comfort with regards to the standings can slip away.

Point is, today is a must-win. Christ, the Flyers look like oompa-loompas in their orange uniforms - and nobody wants to lose to an oompa-loompa. Frankly, it's embarrassing and I won't have it.
