According to the Frolunda Indians website, "Blidh till Boston", or Anton Blidh will be coming to North America next year. He has signed his entry-level contract with the Bruins.

Blidh, a 6 foot tall left wing who was drafted in the sixth round in 2013, has spent the last two years playing for Frolunda in the Swedish Hockey League, the top tier league in Sweden. He also played 11 games for Karlskrona HK in the second tier Swe-1 league.

The article goes on to say that the Bruins were in touch with Blidh after World Juniors in Canada this year, expressing their interest in bringing him over to the US. This was the plan all along, according to PJ Axelsson; Frolunda and the Bruins had been in touch. Blidh will report to camp in July, and his goal is to make the Bruins - he knows Loui Eriksson and Linus Arnesson.

There's a funny little bit in there asking Blidh how he's going to follow "Blåvitt," or Blue-White, the nickname for Gothenburg's soccer team - apparently he's a big footie fan.

Superblidhers rejoice!
