Former Bruin Marco Sturm named coach and GM of Team Germany

Marco Sturm, he of the Joe Thornton to San Jose trade, retired from pro hockey fairly recently. It didn't take him too long to find a new gig. reports that Sturm has been named both head coach and general manager of the German national hockey team.

Sturm scored 106 of his 242 career goals as a member of the Bruins. According to PHT, he's the highest-scoring German-born player in league history.
