Well, the people have spoken. David Pastrnak has been voted our top under-25 player or prospect. And little wonder, as he was an electrifying player last year as an 18-year-old. In a year with relatively little to be happy about, he was the embodiment of hope and promise for the future.
Despite only playing 25 of 76 AHL games with Providence, he still managed to lodge himself up at 5th on the team's scoring leader list for the year. Then he came up to the NHL and scored another 27. In fact, if you added his NHL and AHL points together, they would total more than providence's leading scorer. And he made it all look good, too:
