A smart player in all three zones, Czech-born Jakub Zboril is a player with strong positioning and a steady stride. His solid point total for a defenseman is nice, but his play in the defensive zone and his ability to get into the offensive zone and his crazy accurate shot are really something to behold when seen in the flesh.
A personal favorite highlight of mine appears throughout the video: His ability to notice how plays are developing in multiple save sequences, then swooping in with a monstrous slapshot to finish it off. It's a great X-Factor for a player on defense to have.
He does have some work to do, but many scouts cited the fact that his ability to skate, willingness to get physical, and his offensive skill mesh so well that it he could very easily be a steal from where he was in the draft order.

Social Media Minute:
Jakub has a twitter but has two pictures total on it. So here's him wishing fellow Sea Dogs Thomas Chabot and Nathan Noel luck at the CHL prospects game.
